For a school project, I created a book about the victims of the boxing day tsunami of 2004. I scanned wet pictures of the deceased family members which this book is about, to achieve the washed out effect, which represents the destruction of the tsunami. The last 20 pages of this book consist solely of 230’000 5mm tall figures, which puts the massive number of victims in this catastrophe into perspective.
